How Placement Works:
The aerstent® TBJ is supplied pre-mounted on a reloadable Over-The-Wire (OTW) delivery system with a working length of 600 mm. Unlike conventional delivery systems, the TBJ can be reloaded and repositioned during the procedure, allowing physicians to fine-tune stent placement before final deployment.
The complete silicone cover extends slightly beyond the ends of the stent, helping reduce granulation tissue formation while providing reliable coverage of anastomotic insufficiencies and post-pneumonectomy fistulas. Six radiopaque tantalum markers provide clear fluoroscopic visualisation throughout the procedure.
